Medical Specialty Services provides pediatric sub-specialty consultation for families living in Central Washington through on-site clinics at Children's Village in Yakima and Sunnyside. Specialty Clinics are provided by the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic at Children's Village. Physicians from Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle travel to Yakima to meet with families and local providers to provide a team approach to diagnostics and/or treatment. Consultations with specialists at Children's Hospital are available using Tele-Medicine equipment in some situations (talking with the doctor through a audio-video linkage). Services are covered by medical coupons, some insurance policies, and/or a sliding fee scale.
