Neurodevelopmental Evaluations

Neurodevelopmental evaluations are performed by a developmental and behavioral pediatrician on-site at Children's Village for children with a variety of chronic health conditions. Evaluations are provided by pediatricians specializing in development and behavioral disorders. These physicians are either from Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic or Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle. Common conditions being evaluated include:

  • Autism/Pervasive Developmental Disorders
  • Developmental Disabilities
  • School Underachievement
  • Behavioral Disorders
  • Children with intrauterine alcohol and/or drug exposures

Services are covered by medical coupons, some insurance policies, and/or a sliding fee scale.

Referrals can be made by medical providers by contacting Children's Village at 509-574-3260 or 1-800-745-1077.
