The Nurse Family Partnership is an evidence-based prevention program that helps first time mothers during pregnancy and after the baby is born. The program is provided by Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital and Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic. A specially trained nurse works with the mother during pregnancy and through the baby's second birthday. In The News The nurse helps first time parents learn things like:

Services are covered by local agency funding, medical coupons and state/federal grant. Referrals must be received before 28 weeks gestation. Referrals can be made by primary care providers, community agencies, and individuals by contacting Children's Village at 509-574-3200 or 1-800-745-1077. |
