Pediatric Dental Services
Dental services located at Children's Village are for children with special health care needs and their siblings. Dental Services are provided by the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic at Children's Village.
Board specialized pediatric dental services for newborn to age 18.
Services provided by the dental team include:
- Screenings and exams.
- Cleanings, sealants, and preventive care.
- A full range of dental treatment including fillings, crowns and extractions.
- In-hospital dental care if needed.
- Athletic custom mouth guards
- Pediatric oral prosthetics including obturators, partials, and habit breaking appliances
- Minor oral surgery, including biopsies and mesiodens removal
- Limited orthodontics and minor tooth movement
- Water testing for fluoride
- Newborn cleft lip and palate therapy, presurgical nasal alveolar molding (see cleft palate program)
Services may be covered by medical coupons, some insurance policies, and/or a sliding fee scale.
