Speech
Children's Village Speech Services provide evaluations and language disorders for children. These services are coordinated by Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital at Children's Village.
- Services are provided by a Speech Language Pathologist for children ages 0-18
- Services are available individually, in small peer groups, and in a co-treatment enviroment with collaboration from Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Educators
- Services focus on teaching parents ways to enhance their children's communication skills in everyday life
- Assessment and treatment is provided for a wide variety of needs, including Apraxia of Speech, Articulation Disorders, Auditory Processing, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Cognition, Dysphagia, Feeding, Language Delay, Neurological Impairments, Sensory Processing, and Stuttering
Services are covered by medical coupons, some insurance policies, or other funding sources identified.
