Child Care

Complimentary child care is available for children with special health care needs and their families while they are on-site at Children's Village.

Care is provided in a child-friendly environment by specially trained staff for children and their siblings who are at the Village for appointments. A child care provider is on duty from 8:30am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. 
  • Childcare is provided at no cost to the family.
  • Parents or caregivers must be on-site while children are in the child-care center.
  • Arrangements can be made for child care during certain events and meetings scheduled outside of regular operating hours by contacting Children’s Village at 509-574-3200 or 800-745-1077

Play Room at Children’s Village

Our purpose is to build relationships with children, parents and caregivers by providing a warm and inviting room for children to play and learn in. We provide child care for children from 12 months to 12 years of age while family members are attending scheduled appointments or an event on-site during business hours on a regular basis.

After business hours, child care can be arranged upon request for scheduled Children’s Village activities.

Things to know:

  • The Play Room will be open Monday through Friday from 8:15am to 5:30pm.
  • Please call at least 24 hours in advance to register for child care for any support groups or meetings. No preregistration is required if it is for a scheduled appointment.
  • Parents must first check in at front reception desk or specific department.
  • Parents can sign their child into the Play Room up to 15 minutes before a scheduled appointment and sign them out no more than 10 minutes after the end of an appointment.
  • We try to accommodate all children, but there are rare times when we may be full and will ask you to have your child wait with you until we have room.
  • Please keep your child home if they are sick so that we can maintain a healthy environment for all to enjoy.
  • Parents are asked to share information about their child’s special needs so that we can best meet those needs.

Área de Juego en La Villa de Los Niños (Children’s Village)

Bienvenido al Área de Juego en La Villa de Los Niños. Nuestro propósito es establecer relaciones con los niños, los padres y los cuidadores brindándoles un lugar cálido y acogedor para que los niños jueguen y aprendan. Proporcionamos cuidado infantil para niños de 12 meses a 12 años de edad mientras los miembros de la familia asisten a las citas programadas o a eventos en el sitio durante horas de oficina sobre una base regular. * Después del horario de oficina, se puede organizar el cuidado de niños a petición de las actividades programadas de la Villa de los Niños (Children’s Village)

Cosas que debe saber:

  • El Área de Juego estará abierto de lunes a viernes de 8:15am a 5:30pm.
  • Llame al menos con 24 horas de anticipación para registrarse para el cuidado de niños para cualquier grupo de apoyo o reunión. No se requiere inscripción previa si es para una cita programada.
  • Los padres primero deben registrarse en el mostrador de la recepción o en el departamento específico.
  • Los padres pueden inscribir a sus hijos en el área de juego hasta 15 minutos antes de una cita programada y cerrar la sesión no más de 10 minutos después del final de una cita.
  • Tratamos de acomodar a todos los niños, pero en raras ocasiones podemos estar llenos y le pedimos que haga que su hijo espere hasta que tengamos espacio.
